Carmel Valley Farmers Market – A Community Favorite!

The Carmel Valley Farmers Market has been up and running for a couple of months now and has definitely been a hit amongst Carmel Valley residents.  Residents love that they can get locally grown fresh fruits, vegetables and other assorted goods without having to leave Carmel Valley.

The farmers market is held every Thursday from 3:30-7:30 at Canyon Crest Academy and has an amazing variety of vendors offering their amazing goods and services.  This last week, a new vendor The Loose Leaf has joined the farmers market to sell their amazing loose leaf iced and hot teas.  They are a perfect refresher for the hot summer months, and with all the different flavors and purposes you can use them to kick start your day, get some energy, or even unwind.  Carmel Valley residents are definitely enjoying everything they have to offer!!!

And for those of you that love hummus just as much as I do, be sure to check out the Mediterranean booth at the farmers market.  With over 22 different kinds of hummus, you won’t be disappointed, as there is surely a flavor that appeals to everyone’s individual taste buds.  In addition, they have some delicious pita chips, three layer dip and pasta salads.  This booth has a lot of great food that is great for people on the go or who love to throw spontaneous parties!!!  Just get some pita chips, fresh veggies and hummus and you are all set!

The Carmel Valley Farmers Market is a great place for the whole community to enjoy, as it truly offers something special for everyone.  Families can browse up and down the aisles looking at all the different products, trying samples of all the delicious food, and even scope out some chic clothes and jewelry to add to their collection.  No matter where you wander, you will not be able to escape the delectable aromas floating throughout the air.  And don’t forget to check out the knife-sharpening booth!  Once you have a sharp knife, you’ll never want to go back to a dull one again!  After sampling the difference in cutting, I’m taking all my knives in!
