On January seventh the San Diego Coastal Chamber of Commerce hosted their first sun-downer-networking mixer of 2014 at the Grand Del Mar in Club M. The San Diego Coastal Chamber of Commerce serves the areas of Del Mar, Sorrento Valley, Torrey Hills, Carmel Valley, Torrey Highlands, Rancho SantaFe, and La Jolla. There was some great networking going on and The Grand Del Mar hosted some great appetizers as well as the opportunity to host the event at their beautiful location where members as well as non-members mingled. The sun-downers take place the first Tuesday of every month and are a very casual form of networking. There are also networking luncheons that take place at The Fish Market in Solana Beach on the second Tuesday of every month.
The San Diego Coastal Chamber of Commerce also runs the visitors center in Del Mar and if you become a chamber member you can put marketing material at the welcome center. The Coastal Networking Alliance aims to complement their Chamber’s current networking events by providing additional networking opportunities to their CNA members – from monthly, industry-specific golf outings to business networking events around town.
If you’re unable to attend their monthly luncheons or sun-downers, this will provide an additional opportunity for you to meet and interact with fellow Chamber members and non-member guests in their community. The San Diego Coastal Chamber of Commerce Champions Private Enterprise conducted with unwavering standards of fairness, honesty, and integrity. They represent, promote, and protect a strong business community. The San Diego Coastal Chamber of Commerce offers members a variety of ways to market and advertise their businesses. They have a marketing and advertising product or package to fit anyone’s business needs.

Name: Santiago Benito
School: Canyon Crest Academy
Dream: Santiago hopes to one day become a documentary film director and producer. He also hopes to write and make Hollywood films.
Interests: He enjoys reading almost as much as he enjoys writing; my favorite book is The Life of Pi by Yann Martel. Santiago have had an interest in the art of cinema ever since he could remember. From an early age, Santiago has been mesmerized by the beauty of the lines said and the actors on the big screen. While many kids have a hard time trying to figure out what they want to do after they get out of school, Santiago knew right off the bat that he wanted to be involved in the world of cinema somehow. Aside from that, he enjoys playing basketball and spending time with family and friends. In addition, Santiago is very interested in being involved in things much larger than himself. For example, he is a part of many non-profit organizations whose goals are to help people and communities all over the world (i.e. Japan, Africa, and the Untied States).
Journey: He was born in San Diego on August 14, 1998 and has had a wonderful life growing up in the Carmel Valley area.
