Please join FasTracKids to benefit the San Diego community this holiday season! We are teaming up with Jewish Family Services to ensure a joyous holiday season to 3 needy families.

Recently arrived refugee family of 5 from Iraq, who are making an effort to adjust to their new lives in the US. The wife passed away overseas and the children are having a very hard time without their mother. Father and Mother-in-Law currently have a lot of health complications, however make an effort to go to ESL class and find a job. They also take care of 3 children. They do not have money to purchase gifts for one another this holiday. In advance they would like to “Thank you for your generosity and support!”

The father just lost his job 5 months ago and has not been able to find a job since. The mom recently found part time work and they are saving every penny possible for rent and utilities.

This navy family has faced hard times. The father returned from deployment last year and had a hard time finding a job. He has since found part time work but feels terrible that he cannot fully support his family.

All gifts must be new & unwrapped. Label every item with your family number using mailing labels, or easily removable stickers. If you are donating gift cards, include the gift receipt and indicate the family number and amount of money on the gift card.

Kristin Rude is the Owner and Center Director of FasTracKids, Del Mar & Carmel Valley. She previously taught in the Del Mar Union School District. Kristin obtained her teaching credential from the University of San Diego and has her Masters degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis on second language learners. When Kristin is not working, motherhood keeps her plenty busy with her 2 children, Connor, age 3 & Katherine, age 2. She looks forward to having her own children benefit from the FasTracKids program. Spending time with her family, golfing, traveling, and continuously learning are among her favorite activities.
