Gonzales Canyon Trails Guided Tour

On April 5, 2013, Carmel Valley residents – as well as residents from all of San Diego – had the opportunity to participate in a guided tour of  the beautiful Gonzales Canyon.  Gonzales Canyon is home to some of the most beautiful and scenic hiking trails in all of San Diego, CA.  Hikers can choose a variety of different routes, depending on desired length and degree of difficulty.  One of the least rigorous routes, but a very popular one, is the Torrey Pines Loop Trail.  It is the ideal trail for those individuals looking to get in some exercise while enjoying the gorgeous views of the canyon.

The Torrey Pines Loop Trail is definitely a popular route for Carmel Valley residents.  Not only is it close to home and inexpensive (it’s free), but it also provides sweeping views of the canyon and clean fresh air to breathe in while enjoying nature.  Because of the amazing views and surrounding nature, the hike almost doesn’t even feel as if it is exercise.  It is a great place to go with friends or family to catch up with each other, but can also be relaxing and serene when alone.
