“Holidays in the Heart of Del Mar Village”

Welcome to the Holidays in Del Mar Village!  Today is about the kids in Del Mar.  This is always such a fun community event and a great way to kick start the holiday festivities.  Come and try your luck at the Cake Walk which is hosted by Del Mar Hills and Del Mar Heights Elementary Schools.  Enjoy the Dickens Carolers, frolic in the snow at St. Peter’s Church AND take photos with our special guests – Santa and Mrs. Clause.  Bring your own camera and capture many magical moments.

Dress up in goofy props and ugly Christmas sweaters in the outdoor Holiday Photo Booth – it may be too late for the holiday card but will be a keeper for sure.  Stay toasty warm while sipping on Hot Cocoa and Apple Cider.  Each of the Del Mar Village Restaurants will be sharing their holiday cookies – taste them all and vote for your favorite one.

At 5pm there will be a tree lighting ceremony followed by a screening of the popular Holiday Comedy “ELF.” Bring your warm blankets and cuddle up in the outdoor amphitheater of L’Auberge.

Angela Meakins-Bergman is a Top Producer with P.S. Platinum Properties.  She brought her “go get em” attitude to San Diego nine years ago, where she met and married her husband and immediately found her passion for real estate.  Angela has been tremendously successful in Golf Course Community sales in both Meadows Del Mar and The Crosby Estates, RSF,  bringing some of the top sale prices in these areas.  As well as these communities, Angela has enjoyed much success through all of San Diego County from Downtown to Oceanside. Angela was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada. She developed her love of real estate and community involvement while finishing her studies and went on to spend 10+ years living abroad. While living in Canada, Angela specialized in Banking for HSBC and other Canadian Institutions. Angela was commissioned to teach English in Middle East by the Government of the Sultanate of Oman, she then continued her endeavors teaching for the British Council (Cambridge Regional College) in Hong Kong, The Canary Islands, and the British Virgin Islands.

Angela is a wife and mother to two beautiful little girls.   Most impressively, Angela is a tri-athlete who successfully completed Ironman in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho while 9 weeks pregnant.  Being fit and healthy is extremely important to her and her family. She believes that “a healthy mind and body are the ingredients to success on every level.”  As a cancer survivor and athlete, Angela has learned firsthand about being determined and persistent.  Her favorite quote is “it’s never crowded along the extra mile….” – author unknown. Angela is a member of the Del Mar Rotary Club and enjoys giving back to the community and working on many charitable endeavors. She strives to be a very useful and valuable member of her club.
