Interactive & Educational Winter Camps

Attention all Del Mar & Carmel Valley San Diego parents of 3.5-7 year olds! The holidays are here and soon your children will be out for Winter Break! If you are looking for something fun, interactive & educational for your children, please consider enrolling them in our FasTracKids Winter Camps! We are offering Winter Camp Mon Dec 19th through Thurs Dec 22nd from 9am-12noon at the Boys & Girls Club, Del Mar branch. You can enroll your child for 1, 2, 3, or all 4 days of camp. This would be a perfect opportunity for you to do some holiday shopping while your child is being enriched! We are also offering Spencer Loves Sports Camp Tues Dec 27th through Fri Dec 30th.

Winter Break 2011: FasTrack Camps-Winter Camp & Spencer Learns Sports, is offered as exciting short programs that vary in length from one to four days. During Winter Camp, students use their creative imagination & learning about Art, Music, and Dance, learning about what is in our sky, about atoms & molecules & finally, we will be learning about our wonderful earth. We will be conducting experiments, role-playing, and children will be participating in many projects & utilizing their own creativity. During Spencer Learns Sports, students discover new sports and exercises with Spencer Bunny. Spencer’s friends help engage a child’s imagination while teaching both Spencer and the class all about sports played around the world. Each day of this action packed week features several sports, including:

• Tossing the baseball around on Day 1 with Spencer and Sam!
• Finding pearls deep underwater while scuba diving on Day 2!
• Tapping a golf ball into a volcano on Day 3 as Spencer learns Golf!
• And launching the “rock” toward the rim in basketball on Day 4!
• During their trip through the world of sports, FasTracKids meet Spencer Bunny and his fantastic friends: Amber, Sam, Paula, Eddy, Coach Natasha, and Coach Dan. Not only does “Spencer Learns Sports” teach children about sports, yoga positions and exercise, but there are also goals and lessons that can be applied to life outside of sports.

Kristin Rude

Kristin Rude is the Owner and Center Director of FasTracKids, Del Mar. She previously taught in the Del Mar Union School District. Kristin obtained her teaching credential from the University of San Diego and has her Masters degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis on second language learners. When Kristin is not working, motherhood keeps her plenty busy with her 2 children, Connor, age 3 & Katherine, age 2. She looks forward to having her own children benefit from the FasTracKids program. Spending time with her family, golfing, traveling, and continuously learning are among her favorite activities.
