Movie Night at the Piazza Carmel

When driving through Carmel Valley, San Diego, one of the first things you might notice is how many different neighborhood events take place throughout the community. San Diego is known for their year round beautiful weather, making gatherings held outside the perfect way to spend a summer night.  The Piazza Carmel Shopping Center is definitely taking advantage of the glorious August weather by hosting a free-fun filled event every Wednesday night in August for Carmel Valley residents to enjoy.

The event definitely brings the community together to mix and mingle, participate in fun booths and top off their night by watching a movie amongst all their friends.  From 7-8pm, residents can enjoy live music, entertainment and demonstrations from Church’s Martial Arts.  In addition to live music, there are a variety of booths that will surely appeal to all ages.  Residents can participate in craft-making sessions, get feather extensions and henna tattoos, or simply walk around tasting different kinds of food.

At 8pm, right when the sun goes down, the Piazza turns into an outdoor theatre, where residents can bring their lawn chairs, pillows and blankets, get all comfy and cozy and watch a family friendly movie surrounded by friends and family.  A different movie is shown each week (see schedule below).
