PAC of Angels III Event Happening This Sunday, Oct. 14th

The Alex Capozza “Pay it Forward” Memorial Fund will be the beneficiary of this Sunday’s tennis tournament and BBQ fundraiser sponsored by the Pacific Athletic Club in Carmel Valley.

Tennis is from 9:00 to 12:30pm with participants choosing between The Pacific Athletic Club, Morgan Run Country Club, Del Mar Country Club or Rancho Valencia Resort.

At 1 PM, there will be a BBQ party featuring the Wayne Foster Band at the Pacific Athletic Club.  Suggested donation is $75 for the tennis tournament and $75 for the BBQ.  Children under 12 can attend for $25.00.

The Alex Capozza “Paying it Forward” Memorial Fund has raised over $90,000 the past several years which has allowed the Jenna Druck Center to offer vital programs and services for bereaved families in our region. This year’s goal is to raise an additional $40,000 for the 400 families who receive support each year.

For the past 16 years, The Jenna Druck Center’s Families Helping Families program has been there for thousands of families in their darkest and most difficult hours, weeks and months after losing a child or loved one.  The Center is a safe place for families to come together to receive the help and support they need to go on.  Trained facilitators (many of whom are bereaved parents themselves) offer weekly support groups for parents, children and teens, in addition to grief education and outreach programs in the workplace or classroom.
