Ronda’s Closet: Where Fashion Meets Philanthropy

Brighten your summer wardrobe by heading on over to Ronda’s Closet, located in the Piazza Carmel shopping center.  This amazing boutique not only offers affordable, contemporary pieces for women of all ages, but it also gives back to the community in a variety of different ways.  Ronda’s Closet, first started out of the home of owner, Ronda Chowalki, and offered the perfect career for a stay at home mom.  Ronda was able to host clothing parties right from the comfort of her own home for her friends and family, and still be there for her three children.  But after reaching over 500 loyal customers, she knew she needed to expand her business into a more accommodating space and moved into the Piazza Carmel shopping center.

Today, Ronda’s Closet is a favorite amongst Carmel Valley residents.  Women often stop in for a quick browse and end up leaving with a shopping bag full of items.  The affordable pricing and contemporary fashion is that good!!!  Not only does the boutique offer a wide variety of items, from denim and tops, to candles and lotions, but the staff at Ronda’s Closet all act as personal shoppers, making the shopping experience an enjoyable one.  Employees here have an eye for fashion and can put together outfits that leave women feeling confident and sexy, all without breaking the bank!

Another reason women flock to Ronda’s Closet is because they love the opportunity to be able to give back to their community.  As a breast cancer survivor, Ronda used to receive chemotherapy treatments at Scripps Polster Breast Cancer Center and knows the importance of not only raising awareness, but also finding innovative ways to help others who are going through this difficult time.  Ronda teaches women how to accessorize, tie their scarves and style their wigs to still feel fashionable throughout the process.  In addition, Ronda holds a variety of different in- store events for different charities, such as the Scripps Polster Breast Cancer Center, The Children’s Hospital and Team in Training, giving a percentage of the proceeds to the charity.

Ronda’s Closet truly ties together fashion and philanthropy, making shopping even that much better, especially when the buyer knows it’s going to a great cause.  Who knew purchasing a new bag might help make a difference in someone’s life!  Be sure to stop by Ronda’s Closet to check out all of the latest fashion trends, and visit http://rondascloset.com/ to learn about upcoming news and events.
