The Carmel Valley Life Giveaway & “Taste of Torrey”

As the end of summer is quickly approaching, it is just about that time to bust out your fall fashions and stock up on all the necessities you will need to keep comfortable and warm during the next couple of months.  To help Carmel Valley residents find out the latest fall fashion trends, The Torrey Hills Shopping Center has partnered with The Carmel Valley Life, Gila Rut and other local businesses for an amazing event – “Taste of Torrey” – showcasing a fall fashion runway show, as well as delicious food from different restaurants throughout the center.

The Taste of Torrey event will take place on September 12^th, 2012 at the Torrey Hills Center from 5-9pm.  Gila Rut Aveda Salon will be producing a runway show, showcasing new fall fashions in hairstyles and makeup with a fresh twist.  The runway show will include models wearing clothes and accessories from Jacques Lelong as they strut their stuff down the runway to the sounds of a live DJ.

In addition to fall fashion, different restaurants throughout the center will be participating in the event, showcasing their deliciously prepared food and sharing their menus with the residents of Carmel Valley.  The event is forecasted to be a great hit and will continue to bring the community together, while helping small businesses continue to grow.

To kick-start this event, The Carmel Valley Life has partnered with different businesses throughout Carmel Valley to host a giveaway each day.  Prizes include teeth whitening at All Smile Dental, custom framing from Munro Gallery, complimentary dog grooming from Dirty Dogs and even a month long membership to Sculpt Fusion Yoga.  You definitely don’t want to miss out on these amazing prizes so be sure to check out The Carmel Valley Life to enter the giveaway daily beginning August 13^th, 2012.
