Torrey Hills: Community Spotlight

Tucked away on the southern end of Carmel Valley San Diego, the community of Torrey Hills offers its residents a unique “small town” atmosphere with a location that can’t be beat.  Torrey Hills came to be in the mid-90’s and right from its inception the residents fought hard to establish and protect a community-focused identity, starting with a successful campaign to keep fast food restaurants and gas stations from being a part of the neighborhood.  Instead, Carmel Valley now has one of its most popular meeting spots, the Torrey Hills Town Center, where residents enjoy first class shopping, services, restaurants and a future dog park.  The center is also home to local business and charity events.
