Luxury Athletic Club Adopts New Name

Pacific Sports Resort San Diego is Now The Bay Club Carmel Valley. 

Just in time for New Year’s, Pacific Sports Resort San Diego has made a new resolution.  Effective immediately, the luxury athletic club and resort will now be known as The Bay Club Carmel Valley.  In keeping with the aim of helping members reach their own transformative goals, current management will continue to run the club with their trademark hospitality, culture and operating values.

The change reflects an update to the name of parent company Western Athletic Clubs, now called The Bay Club Company.  Said President and Chief Executive Officer Matthew Stevens, “The Bay Club has been an iconic brand in San Francisco for decades.  We are proud to extend this name to our company to pay homage to the distinctive brand The Bay Club name represents.”

The Bay Club Company has revolutionized the idea of the staid country club by offering guests a wealth of experiences to celebrate a healthy and vibrant lifestyle.  It  has transformed “formal country clubs” into contemporary lifestyle destinations for families and individuals with less time, more demands and a desire for health, wellness, recreation and business productivity all in one place.
