“Jewel” is the Pet of the Week

“Jewel” is the pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society.  She’s a 3 year old, 11 pound, Domestic Short Hair cat.                      .

The first thing you’ll notice about Jewel is that she’s very friendly.  She’ll run to greet you with a happy “Meow!”  For Jewel, there are no strangers…just new friends that she hasn’t met until now.  You’ll notice that there’s something unusual about her face.  It’s mostly white with long whiskers and black fur on her left ear.  Then you see it.  Her right eye is pale blue and her left eye is golden.  It’s a distinguished look that adds to her charm.

Jewel’s previous owner became ill and was no longer able to provide the care that a cat needs.  So Jewel was surrendered to Rancho Coastal Humane Society.  She’s waiting for her new family to meet her and take her home.

The $100 adoption fee for Jewel includes medical exam, up to date vaccinations, spay, and microchip.

Jewel is a new arrival in the Cattery, but with her friendly personality she settled in right away and became a favorite.  Her previous owner had become ill and was no longer able to take care of her.  Now she’s ready to go to her forever home.
