“Beaux” is the Pet of the Week – The Carmel Valley Life

“Beaux” is the pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 1 year old, 55 pound, Treeing Walker Coonhound.

Beaux is a goofy, active, puppy.  He loves people and he gets along great with other dogs.  Like most hounds, Beaux likes to follow his nose as he searches for new adventures.  If there are no raccoons or other animals for him to track down and chase up a tree, he goes on imaginary hunts. The care providers in the kennels say that Beaux “sings.”  It’s actually just the way he barks.  It sounds like he’s saying his name.  When you meet him in the Rancho Coastal Humane Society kennels, don’t be surprised if he greets you with a happy “Beaux!”

He was transferred from an animal shelter in Mississippi through the FOCAS program.

The $145 adoption fee for Beaux includes medical exam, up to date vaccinations, neuter, and microchip.
