FasTrack Music is based on Kindermusik International’s ABC Music & Me program. Targeting preschoolers, three to five years old, FasTrack Music is much more than a music class.
Centered around storytelling, imaginative play and taking turns, FasTrack Music curriculum includes 12 different CD-based modules. The theme is changed monthly to focus on different areas of a child’s development. Each program integrates songs and rhymes to help develop phonetic awareness and early reading skills; tapping, clacking and ringing rhythm instruments with music to improve hand-eye coordination; focused listening to improve following direction skills; instrument play to strengthen fine motor skills; singing of developmentally appropriate songs to develop vocal chords and expressive speech.
During a four-week period, FasTrack Music preschoolers attend a weekly 30-minute class designed to develop the skills needed for early education success. The fun, interactive environment introduces preschoolers to activities that build confidence, coordination, creativity, self-discipline and an appreciation of music through interactive activities.
