“Dexter” is the Pet of the Week – The Carmel Valley Life

“Dexter” is the pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 1 year old, 20 pound, Cockapoo.  That’s a Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix.               

Dexter was found as a stray dog in the El Centro area.  He was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the Friends of County Animal Shelters program.  His coat was badly matted and neglected.  Dexter needed a makeover.  Check out his “Before and After” pictures on Rancho Coastal Humane Society’s website.

Some stray dogs can be afraid and protective.  Not Dexter.  He’s friendly, outgoing, and very social.  He loves everybody and he gets along great with other dogs.  He’ll do great with an active family that will include him in everything they do.

The $145 adoption fee for Dexter includes medical exam, up to date vaccinations, neuter, and microchip.
