Sometimes waking up in the morning isn’t always the easiest thing to do, especially as the seasons change. Most people instantly wake up and reach right for a cup of coffee to help make the whole getting up process a little easier. But instead of reaching for that cup of coffee, Pablo and Branko Fernandez recommend starting your morning off right with an all-natural green juice. Not only will it wake you up, but it will provide enough energy to get you through the whole day!
Pablo and Branko, the Fernandez brothers, started their juicing and wellness company to bring education, health, vitality and fun to the community of Carmel Valley. In addition, they have partnered with the Harvard Cooking Girl in La Jolla to teach cooking classes, as well as provide educational seminars about nutrition and other health topics. Their passion for living a healthy lifestyle can be seen throughout their day to day lives, and they want others to experience the amazing feel that comes along with living healthy and eating clean.
To make their delicious green drink, you will need the following ingredients, as well as a juicer of some kind.
After juicing all of these ingredients, you can cut open a coconut (or purchase coconut water with no sugar) and mix together. The coconut adds a great base, and is very hydrating, while the green juice has many different benefits. Not only will it help you consume a larger variety of produce each day, it will help your body absorb nutrients faster, promote alkalinity, encourage weight loss, and improve your energy levels. There is really no better way to start your day than with a green juice like this!
Stay tuned for more information and more recipes from the Fernandez Brothers and be sure to check out the Harvard Cooking Girl to see future collaborations!
