How do you select the right real estate agent for buying or selling your Carmel Valley home? Well, the market has change considerably over the last five years, and one thing that we’ve learned is that it takes a marketing real estate agent, not just a listing agent, to sell a home.
As a team, we feel that its very important in today’s market to not just promote the property, but to actually do everything we can to add value to the property before it goes to the market. There are a lot of things that go into preparing a property to allow it to be seen in its best light. Some examples include: staging a property, using world-class photography, improving landscaping and general maintenance.
One of the things that’s most important to look for in a good Carmel Valley real estate agent, is someone that is not just focused on promoting themselves, but is truly promoting the property. And there are a number of ways that this can be accomplished. We feel that it’s critically important that we focus on the buyers agents if we’re selling a home. We really network and market to those agents because those are the agents that are going to bring the buyer.
There are incredible opportunities in this market, great opportunities that we feel are once-in-a-life-time opportunities for people to buy properties at discounted prices from where they were at the top of the market just a few years ago, and do so in a way that protects their interest for years to come.
