Jewish Family Service Hosts Annual Heart and Soul Gala to Celebrate Accomplishments and Recognize 2016 Mitzvah Honorees. Jewish Family Service of San Diego (JFS) will hold its annual Heart and Soul Gala, one of San Diego’s largest and most successful fundraisers, at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine on Sunday, March 13th.

JFS will share its recent success as a community resource for individuals and families in need and celebrate the contributions of the 2016 Mitzvah Honorees: Claire and David Ellman, Benjamin Schulman, and its special partnership with U.S. Bank.

Guests at the Annual Heart and Soul Gala will be entertained by the String Angels as they enjoy a delicious dinner and bid on unique auction packages. All proceeds will benefit JFS’s ongoing programs to empower individuals and families, support aging with dignity, and foster community connection and engagement across San Diego.

More than 600 community leaders and advocates are expected to come together to support JFS’s vital efforts to build a stronger, healthier, more resilient San Diego.
