For those Carmel Valley residents looking for a great sushi restaurant, Katana Sushi, located on Carmel Country Road, is a prime destination. Katana Sushi is a family run and family oriented business that offers Japanese cuisine, but with a Korean twist. Having been open for over two years, Katana Sushi really draws in a big crowd, due to their delicious specialties, sushi and sashimi, brought in fresh every day.
In addition to their delicious and very popular sushi and sashimi, Katana offers teriyaki grilled chicken, Korean style bulgogi (barbecued beef), and kids meals. Katana even caters to those on a budget, offering bento boxes under ten dollars for lunch and a different type of sushi roll each month being discounted. You really cannot go wrong with ordering anything here, as it is all beyond amazing. And trust me, I have frequented Katana many times and they never cease to amazing me!!
One of my favorite things about going out to eat at Katana Sushi is the warm welcoming I receive every time I enter the doors. Shouts of “irashaimase,” meaning welcome in Japanese, can be heard, and every guest enters feeling as if they are a celebrity. It truly is a great start to an even more amazing lunch or dinner! And for those of you with families, be sure to bring them to Katana, as they really cater to families and offer an environment the whole family can enjoy!
If you are in or around the Carmel Valley area, be sure to stop by Katana Sushi for some great food at great prices. You won’t be disappointed or be forced to break open the piggy bank. Everything is delicious and budget friendly. So be sure to visit Katana Sushi on Carmel Country Road!
