Pet of the Month for The Carmel Valley Life

Cheshire is the Carmel Valley Life Pet of the Month at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 4 year old, 13 pound, Domestic Short Hair with a Red Tabby coat.

The first part of his life has not been easy. Cheshire has been in and out of shelters because of changes in his adoptive families. It hasn’t made him bitter. In fact, he’s one of the most affectionate guests in the RCHS cattery. His new family can expect for him to spend a lot of time on their laps. He’s craving the attention that he’s missed out on.

Cheshire was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from another animal shelter through the FOCAS program.

The $100 adoption fee includes medical exam, up to date vaccinations, neuter, and registered microchip. Designer brands from Carlsbad Premium Outlets will walk down the “Haute Dog” runway with adoptable dogs from RCHS. Friendly dogs are welcome. Spring Animal Camp at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society runs April 3rd through 7th and April 10th through 14th. Campers take part in games, arts and crafts, and hands-on experiences with animals.
