Darla is the Carmel Valley Life Pet of the Month at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 3 month old, 3-1/2 pound, Domestic Short Hair kitten with a Calico coat.
Darla is a typical, playful kitten. Without warning she might break into “kitty zooms” all around your house. Five minutes later you could find her sound asleep on the couch and purring contentedly. Keep in mind that kittens are only kittens for a short time. When you bring a kitten into your family you are making a lifetime commitment to an adult cat. Darla was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from the Feral Cat Coalition through the FOCAS program.
The $125 adoption fee for Darla includes medical exam, vaccinations, spay, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org. Kennels and Cattery open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day but Tuesday.
