RCHS Pet of the Month of January for the Carmel Valley Life

Lone Ranger is the Carmel Valley Life Pet of the Month at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 2 year old, 22 pound, male, Beagle.

Lone Ranger is one of the Beagles that arrived at RCHS after being rescued from a large, commercial breeding operation in the central United States. They were transferred to RCHS through the Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS) program.

He shared a kennel with his friend, Tonto. Tonto was adopted first. Lone Ranger is shy and he stays in the back of his kennel when people come to meet him. When the care providers and volunteers spend time in the kennel with him, Lone Ranger is ready to snuggle. He needs the right people to take the time to meet him and see what a loving dog he is when it’s face to furry face.

The $145 adoption fee for Lone Ranger includes medical exam, vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. A free pet vaccination and examination clinic will be held from 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, January 21st at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas. Exams will be performed by veterinarians from Coastal Animal Hospital. The event is sponsored by the Hana Fund.
