Dancing is the Poetry of the Foot: North County Dance Arts Upcoming Recital

North County Dance Arts, located in Carmel Valley, San Diego, was voted the 2011 Best Dance Studio in San Diego County and has continued to prove why.  Louis and Tanya McKay, owners and instructors at the dance studio, have created the perfect combination of a fun and nurturing environment with top of the line instruction and teaching.  Having been open for over 31 years, North County Dance Arts has produced thousands of amazing dancers and put together endless amounts of entertaining routines.  Carmel Valley residents are definitely lucky to have this amazing studio located right in their back yard!!!

This year, the dancers at North County Dance Arts are hard at work for their upcoming recital, “Limitless,” which will take place July 28^th at 12pm and 6pm at the Mandeville Auditorium on the UCSD campus.  With instruction beginning in September, all dancers are taught technique until January.  Starting in January, they begin putting together everything they have learned, creating dance combinations, and getting ready for the upcoming recital.

Preparing for the dance recital is a lot of hard work and the weeks leading up to the final date can be a little intense. Preparing for the recital is a major time commitment and attendance is key.  Even though the girls leave practice sweaty and exhausted, they love the fun environment of North County Dance Arts and the time they get to spend bonding with their friends.  Practicing for the recital is definitely time consuming and at times difficult, but it is something that is extremely rewarding.  The end result is nothing short of amazing and the dancers loving getting to show off all of their hard work and finely tuned dance skills to their friends, families, and peers.

Be sure to visit North County Dance Arts online to purchase your tickets to the recital.  Tickets usually sell out pretty fast and are a very hot commodity throughout the Carmel Valley community.  This definitely will not be your normal recital, so be sure to purchase your tickets soon to see award- winning routines!!!
